Project Overview
To maintain a high occupancy level and minimize disruption to the client, the air conditioning installation was carried out with close co-operation with the hotel management. Temperature Control designed a heat recovery Sanyo VRF system to serve all the bedrooms and conference suites as well as acting as principle contractor managing specialist sub contractors to achieve the full package. This included the new bulkhead and service riser as well as all new electrical supplies and control systems for the comfort cooling equipment. One of the most difficult tasks we found was the lifting of 32 condensers to the top of the17 story roof, with all the restrictions that Broadstreet brings. We also stripped out all the redundant air conditioning equipment from the 17th floor plant room, which was removed without the use of a crane, again whilst the hotel was at full operation. The project was finished on time and on budget.
